How Youll Make an Impact
Perform technical analysis design development testing installation and service.
Work from instructions drawings proposals and specifications.
Prepare specifications and related documents per requirements.
Review and analyze engineering data documents and reports.
Consult with other engineering groups to ensure suitability of engineering criteria.
Investigate technical problems and establish corrective actions.
Allocate time to customer-focused activities product care and operational troubleshooting.
Assist in preparing specifications selecting materials drafting proposals and preparing licensing and safety documents.
Develop 2-D and 3-D models using advanced CAD software (AutoCAD and CREO Parametric).
Learn and apply basic numerical tolerance calculations and stack-up analysis.
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines.
Your Background
Bachelors degree in electrical electromechanical or mechanical engineering or a related field with 3 to 7 years of experience.
Experience with Pro-E or any 3D CAD modeling software is highly desired but not required.
Experience with Windchill data management or any PLM software is highly desired but not required.
Preferably some experience designing or developing electromechanical products mainly transformer components is highly desired but not required.
Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
