Job Summary

ROLE TITLE/ DESIGNATION: Scientist – Reinforcement

Role Purpose:

KEY RESULT AREAS:

Journey of Excellence Development of novel carbon black and other fillers for rubber applications Understanding of carbon black technology/advanced filler technology/rubber technology with in-depth knowledge of testing characterization and analysis of rubber compounds fillers and relevant additives.

Familiarity and visualization of recent trends in technology sustainability and product stewardship of Rubber technology.

Ability to identify the scope of new carbon blacks and carbonaceous materials for business growth and brand building of the company. Modifications of carbon black

Development of rubber compound for specific applications. Product knowledge in the field of tyre non-tyre and special applications of rubber goods.

Capability of rubber compound development for specific applications Reverse engineering to enhance performance of rubber compounds.

Sustainability and regularity compliance Knowledge of sustainability and regulatory compliance in the rubber industry

Roles of R&D on sustainability and regulatory compliance of products process etc.

Identify the scopes of product development product modification in line with sustainability and regularity compliance.

To engage with troubleshooting of specific issues in process or/and critical customer complaint Identify the problem of customers (Internal and External)

Establish a theory of probable causes with literature survey and analysis of available data Lead laboratory and pilot scale study for resolution of customer’s issue and to lead to implement the same in plant scale.

Laboratory Management System Deep knowledge of laboratory management systems Inventory management of laboratory chemicals Maintenance of R&D equipment.

Basic level of education (Diploma/Graduate/ Degree: BE/ : Rubber/Polymer Science & Technology

Post Graduate qualification Degree: . (Mandatory)

Stream: Rubber/Polymer Science & Technology
