Job Summary
Title: Distribution Technical Product Owner
Location: Mooresville IN (Hybrid)
Duration: Long Term Contract
Experience: 8 to 10 Years
Client Overview
The client provides account management customer support contract management logistics and supply chain services to major healthcare institutions including hospitals health plans pharmacy benefit organizations and government entities.
Role Overview
You will own the product vision and roadmap supporting Distribution Center operations translating business needs into prioritized user stories while driving value delivery. This role works closely with IT operations vendors and cross-functional squads to enhance warehouse and supply chain platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Own product vision roadmap backlog prioritization and value delivery
Translate business needs into user stories and acceptance criteria
Lead squad ceremonies and optimize value flow using Agile tools
Balance business value with technical feasibility and cost efficiency
Drive continuous improvement across product lifecycle
Partner with DC operations QA Infrastructure Security and vendors
Lead issue resolution across WMS WCS and network partners
Support audits roadmap planning vendor SOWs and POs
Manage squad resourcing and performance (OKRs)
Mandatory Skills & Experience (Must-Have)
8-10 years of Supply Chain / Supply Chain IT experience (Healthcare preferred)
Strong end-to-end Distribution Logistics & Warehouse Operations knowledge.
Blue Yonder WMS techno-functional expertise - minimum 2 implementations required
Hands-on experience with:
Ø Warehouse Control Systems (WCS - Exacta required)
Ø Warehouse Execution Systems (WES required)
Experience working with automation systems such as:
Ø Dematic BOSS RFID conveyors VLMs
Tools & Methodologies Required
Blue Yonder WMS
WCS (Exacta) & WES platforms
Agile Waterfall & Scaled Agile (SAFe)
Product backlog & release planning tools (Jira or similar)
Metrics & delivery tracking (burndown burn-up OKRs)
Preferred / Nice to Have
Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA
Experience identifying AI/ML opportunities in real-time DC operations
Data-driven product and operational mindset
