The role includes a range of duties tailored to departmental requirements which may involve:

**Patient Care Coordination**: Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to optimize clinical outcomes while maintaining focus on quality and cost-effectiveness. -
**Compliance Oversight**: Ensure adherence to established standards of care and practices in alignment with policies procedures and guidelines mandated by the Medical Treatment Facility (MTF). -
**Clinical Assessments**: Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and gather detailed health histories.
- **Health Promotion and Education**: Offer health counseling educational resources and proactive wellness interventions to patients.

**Medical Interventions**: Administer medications perform wound care and implement other individualized treatment protocols.

**Leadership in Care Delivery**: Supervise and direct the care rendered by other healthcare professionals ensuring alignment with their respective scopes of practice.

**Emergency Response**: Identify adverse health signs and symptoms and respond promptly to emergencies.
- **Interdisciplinary Communication
**: Engage with a varied cohort of stakeholders to inform the healthcare team of care plans facilitate educational opportunities for patients and families and enhance organizational efficacy.

**Referral Management**: Schedule and coordinate specialty care appointments as necessary.

**Clinical Research**: Undertake research initiatives aimed at advancing best practices and improving patient outcomes.

**Staff Development**: Participate in staff meetings to engage in case discussions continuing education and activities focused on continuous quality improvement and safety protocols.

**Documentation Proficiency**: Demonstrate competence with electronic health records and relevant software applications for documenting assessments interventions and evaluations utilizing paper documentation in cases where electronic systems are not operational.
### Work Schedule:

**Days**: Monday through Friday- **Hours**: 8.5 to 9 hours daily scheduled flexibly between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM including an unpaid lunch break of 30 to 60 minutes.-
**Availability**: No weekend or holiday shifts; no overtime required.
Minimum Qualifications:

**Education**: Minimum Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited institution.-
**Experience**: At least 1 year of outpatient experience as an ambulatory care nurse within the last 2 years specifically in psychiatric nursing behavioral health and/or wellness counseling.-
**Licensure**: Active unrestricted RN license from any state.-
**Life Support Certifications**: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification by AHA or ARC.-
**Security Clearance**: Ability to successfully undergo a government background check for security clearance.
