Speech-Language Pathologist (Part-Time w Benefits) Outpatient & Homecare!

Metros Speech Department continues to grow and we are looking for a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist in Nassau County.  The position will  include some hours in our outpatient clinic in Jericho and homecare on the North Shore of LI.   You will get a wide variety of experience with mentorship in place. Caseload demographics include: Aphasia Dysphagia Pediatrics  TBI Voice Cognitive Communication Disorders AAC use etc. 

Metro is looking for a motivated compassionate forward-thinking Speech Therapist who excels at assessing patients strengths and weaknesses and devising creative but effective treatment plans. Qualifications :

Qualifications

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of New York.
• Evaluates a patients need for speech therapy and develops an appropriate treatment plan.
• Provide appropriate care and treatment to patients based on physician care plan agency policy and professional standards of care.
• Instructs family members Home Health Aides and other caregivers in appropriate speech therapy techniques & HEP
• Mandatory Certifications: First Aid AED & CPR Certifications (live course)
