Responsibilities
The Associate Director or Director Business Development is responsible for the origination development management and delivery of incremental new (direct) profitable business to achieve financial & non-financial key performance indicators.
The candidate shall be responsible for the development of the broad India business growth strategy and deliver the associated Business Plan objectives which is to . The objectives would be to develop Corporates and Private Wealth business of the Company and Group for India outbound as well as inbound opportunities. He / She needs to develop key introducer relationships and manage direct sales pipeline as well as lead the profitable growth of the India business in line with relevant KPIs. He / She should work in collaboration and builds functional relationship with legal finance compliance client and other business units.
Tasks
- Develop/implement/update business development strategy for agreed target markets/clients
- Ensure efficient and seamless new client end-to-end on-boarding process
- Conduct market research client and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities
- Prepare and implement business partner collaboration plans and organize joint marketing events with them
- Responsible for thought leadership initiatives and taking appropriation lead
- Liaise with MD / Group Commercial team / Marketing to compliment business development plan objectives using brand profile marketing collateral event management and social platforms. Also develop consistent best-in-class presentations for client and business partners
- Ensure target market/sector awareness and market intelligence to support new product development & promotion
- Lead influence & motivate colleagues to ensure the highest levels of client service
- Effective cooperation / liaison / cross referrals with key stakeholders across the Group
- Ensure adherence to relevant policy licenses regulation & legislation including cross border business solicitation awareness & requirements
- Provide / facilitate effective Legal oversight advisory support
- Manage business development budget
- Manage & monitor pricing policy for prospective / new clients services
- Manage seamless handover to administration teams to on-board new clients
- Manage introducer relationships effective via proactive & coordinated planning
- Ensure protection of information assets of IQ-EQ India and to abide by the data protection policy of IQ-EQ India
