Job Summary
- Responsible for performing entry level professional GIS duties while working within the GIS team.
- Assist in all aspects of GIS map generation including data creation and editing querying and spatial analysis map compilation and map production.
- Create and modify GIS datasets; manage and maintain legacy GIS datasets; develop and implement GIS-based analyses supporting our Water Resources sector.
- Maintain geospatial data on desktop mobile and cloud applications. Ensure data meets appropriate data accuracy and content standards for quality assurance and quality control.
- Create and modify GIS datasets; manage and maintain legacy GIS datasets; develop and implement GIS-based analyses supporting drainage system management watershed districts and other water resource projects.
Qualifications :
- Candidates must be working toward a degree in GIS or a related field
- Knowledge of ESRI GIS software for map generation and data creation.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products

The estimated rate of pay is $21-$22 per hour depending on experience.
