Job Summary
- Responsible for providing architectural guidance calculations analysis studies and recommendations for a Healthcare Architectural within the schedules and budget of an assigned project.
- May manage various size groups of architects designers and/or specialists.
- Lead the medical planning effort on large complex healthcare projects.
- Develop and document comprehensive space programs functional relationships (bubble/block diagrams) and departmental adjacencies.
- Lead user group meetings clinical interviews and visioning sessions to capture detailed operational needs and workflows.
- Generate and evaluate multiple planning concepts guiding clients through feasibility and option analysis.
- Author key sections of project deliverables including the Functional & Space Program (FSP) and Equipment Planning narratives.
- Ensure all plans comply with relevant codes standards and regulations.
- Integrate technology infrastructure (IT medical equipment telemedicine) seamlessly into planning concepts.
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers Architects Engineers and Interior Designers to ensure design integrity from schematic design through construction documents.
- Mentor and direct intermediate and junior medical planners providing guidance and fostering professional growth.
Qualifications :
- Professional degree in Architecture ( or ) from an accredited program. Licensure (RA) strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 6-15 years of continuous experience focused exclusively on healthcare facility planning and design within an architecture or design firm.
- Demonstrated portfolio of successfully built healthcare projects of significant scale and complexity.
- Mastery of the healthcare design process from strategic planning through construction administration. Expert knowledge of healthcare building codes.
- Deep understanding of clinical department operations (e.g. Surgical Services Imaging Nursing Units Oncology Emergency) and support services.
- High proficiency in AutoCAD Revit and BIM collaboration tools. Skilled in Microsoft Office Bluebeam and diagramming tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite Affinity).
- Exceptional communication presentation and facilitation skills.
- Proven leadership team-building and client relationship management abilities.
- Strategic thinker with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficient in English and Chinese at work environment.
- Portfolio attached is a must.
