Veterinary Sales Associate (Part-time) Okanagan, BC

We are looking for a driven reliable extremely organized pet passionate individual with a minimum of 2 years experience in a veterinary hospital environment to help build maintain and strengthen relationships with veterinary practices in the Okanagan area!  

This part-time 16 hours a week position would require the individual to visit veterinary practices build relationships and educate hospital staff on the advantages of having insured clients and how to incorporate this into their workflow. This is a great opportunity for an experienced vet tech or practice manager looking for a groundbreaking opportunity within our industry. Does this sound like you!  

The ideal candidate will be comfortable with a Part-time commitment a high level of activity to assist in maintaining and building our success and be open to this role youll earn an hourly salary plus commissions and there is a car allowance.  

Location Requirements  

• Must live within the Okanagan area and be willing to be on the road visiting hospitals a minimum of 16 hours a week in addition to some administrative work from a home office  

Role Requirements:  

• Minimum of 2 years experience working in a veterinary clinic with a strong understanding of the veterinary industry
• Sales or Marketing experience preferred  
• Passion for helping eliminate economic euthanasia in dogs & cats  
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partner veterinary practices across an assigned territory
• Confidence and effectiveness when presenting to hospital owners veterinarians and clinic staff
• Possess pet passion and a strong belief in our mission to give responsible pet owners the ability to provide the best care for their pet when it becomes sick or injured  
• Customer-focused mindset with the ability to deliver courteous professional and efficient service
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team  
• Self-motivated and entrepreneurial with the persistence and patience to thrive in a growth-oriented environment
• Outstanding communication listening skills and a professional appearance  
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (primarily Outlook Excel and Word)   
• Valid and clean drivers license record and reliable car
