Factorial IT operates like a startup inside Factorial: its own roadmap its own go-to-market strategy and a team expected to grow rapidly. We already have the technical backbone in place and 200 active customers proving the demand.
We are looking for a Founding Pre-Sales Consultant to join us as one of the first technical commercial hires and define the technical sales playbook with a clear path to become the leader of the function in no-time.
The Role
As a Founding Pre-Sales Consultant you will own the technical validation of our sales cycle. You will be the bridge between complex IT pain points and our automation solution.
You will speak with IT Managers CTOs and CISOs at some of Europes fastest-growing scale-ups to show them how Factorial IT can put their operations on autopilot. This role is about high-conviction technical selling with a unique unfair advantage - our ability of leverage our 16k existing customers from day one.
What youll do
- Lead Technical Discovery: Run discovery sessions and deep-dive demos for IT and Ops leaders across the European market.
- Master the Zero-Touch Narrative: Show how ourproduct enables hardware procurement and configuration in under 2 minutes.
- Drive Compliance Value: Explain how our UEM (Unified Endpoint Management) natively supports ISO 27001 readiness moving beyond the limitations of tools like Apple Business Manager.
- Recover SaaS Spend: Demonstrate how our platform identifies Zombie Licenses to reduce customer SaaS spend by 15-20%.
- Build the Playbook: Provide structured feedback to Product and Marketing to shape our demos and future roadmap.
- Manage the Stack: Track and forecast technical opportunities accurately in HubSpot CRM.
Your Profile
- 3 years of experience in B2B SaaS Pre-Sales ideally within IT Workplace Technology or Security environments.
- Native or bilingual Italian and professional English.
- Proven experience in Workplace IT technology sales including end-user computing solutions and digital workplace tools.
- Solid understanding of MDM / UEM technologies and modern SaaS ecosystems including integrations and automation workflows.
- Strong Blueprint / Discovery process expertise: ability to run structured discovery sessions to map business needs technical constraints and operational pain points into scalable solutions.
- Hands-on experience leading technical demos and validation phases for complex B2B solutions.
- Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear business value for non-technical stakeholders.
- Entrepreneurial and builder mindset: excited to define processes test hypotheses and iterate from 0 to 1 in a fast-growing product unit.
Bonus Points
- Experience with ISO 27001 / SOC 2 certifications.
- Experience selling to IT personas (CTO VP Engineering CISO).
- Knowledge of the Italian IT ecosystem and compliance requirements.
