Job Summary: The Data Analytics Engineer will design develop and maintain enterprise analytics reporting solutions and data frameworks to support business intelligence initiatives. This role focuses on data engineering report optimization dashboard development and enabling scalable BI architecture. The engineer will collaborate with functional and digital technology teams to translate business needs into technical solutions while ensuring high data quality performance and ongoing production support.

Job Description Summary :

Responsible for developing analytics reporting dashboards and robust data framework in partnership with other functional and DT organizations

Manage business critical data engineering processes data architecture and maintaining metadata data structures to enable analytical and reporting solutions

Provide necessary support for post-deployment related activities

Expertise required in data engineering report design report tuning and performance optimization data analysis and data manipulation

Fundamental understanding of end-to-end business processes and BI systems.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Gather and understand requirements create the appropriate design implementation test and deployment strategies and provide sustenance support as necessary

Develop BI and BA Applications utilizing advanced data visualization techniques

Responsible for designing and implementing Business Intelligence reporting with experience in semantic design

Critically review and analyze current standards processes tools and metrics to recommend and implement changes leading to best practices for program execution

Ability to translate business requirements into technical solution is a critical skill for the position

Daily maintenance support of dashboards

Strong interpersonal skills with ability to professionally interact with a diverse blend of personalities to reach resolution and maintain strong relationships

Assists and manages customers through the report requirements and design process

Ability to query data both in relational database and big data platforms can troubleshoot data issues and provide corrective measures

Ability to work with other technical teams across multiple initiatives to provide timely delivery in an enterprise environment.

Desired Characteristics :

Ability to implement business logic with advanced analytic calculations and multiple source

Extensive SQL and PL/SQL skills and knowledge in Oracle and Postgres SQL querying

Expert understanding of multiple modern BI software and visualization tools

Good aesthetic skills and ability to propose visualizations based on requirements

Prior experience with Spotfire

Strong attention to detail

Work effectively with project managers and client stakeholders to understand and refine project requirements and deadlines

Familiar with or have practiced Agile Development

Proven analytical and problem resolution skills
