Lead AI Engineer

Job Summary
We are looking for a Lead AI Engineer to manage the strategic delivery of advanced data analytics products overseeing their development validation and maintenance. Your role entails leading a team of data scientists driving their productivity and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. By analysing large datasets optimizing ML frameworks and collaborating with cross-functional teams you will ensure the alignment of data science solutions with organizational objectives while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities
You will be responsible for delivery of strategic roadmap and plan for advanced data analytics products. This includes developing validating and maintaining the products.
You will be responsible for leading the team of data scientists focusing them on tasks and driving their productivity and performance.
You will analyse large volumes of data to identify new patterns using data mining and AI and train and validate models.
You will be responsible for driving improvement across all governance and performance metrics for the assigned products/projects.
You will be responsible for developing a cohesive team and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. You will identify training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
You will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and identify data science driven solutions.
Your role includes optimizing existing ML (Machine Learning) frameworks maintaining up-to-date knowledge of advancements in the field and tackling challenges with creative analytical solutions.
You will be responsible for maintaining documentation throughout and beyond the development process including algorithms and technologies related documentation for future reference.
You will be responsible for maintaining coding and development standards and following procedures to ensure high-quality algorithms and models.
You will be responsible for ensuring adherence to data governance policies and regulatory requirements surrounding data in the pharmaceutical industry during development and deployment of data analytics products.
You will be expected to act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment of data analytics solutions with organizational goals.

Qualifications :

Educational qualification: A Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science Information Technology Data Science or related field

Minimum work experience: 6 to 10 years of experience

Skills & attributes:
Technical Skills
Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python R SQL and TensorFlow.
Experience with advanced analytics techniques including machine learning deep learning optimization and simulation.
Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau Power BI or Matplotlib.
Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop Spark or Kafka.
Strong knowledge base in Statistics and Mathematics.
Ability to clearly communicate analytics concepts and implications to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to translate analytics insights into actionable business recommendations.
Critical thinking ability for applying business understanding to develop data-driven solutions and drive business improvement.
