Be Part of Our Nordic People Advisory Team
As our new People Partner you will join the Nordic People Advisory team covering Sweden Norway Denmark and Finland.
You will primarily support employees and first line managers in Sweden but also across the Nordic region on a broad scope of people processes and employee cases. As a senior member of the team you will participate actively in developing and implementing global people initiatives and processes. You will take independent responsibility for tasks within your own scope of responsibility.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Advising managers on employment policies and guidance based on your broad knowledge of labour law and HR processes
- Providing labour law advice on both collective and individual cases and topics. Handling different types of employee cases independently: advisory to managers concerning management of performance improvement plans absence cases grievances inter-personal issues and other cases requiring a senior HR presence
- Developing HR policies and procedures in close collaboration with the Head of HR and HR Business Partners
- Driving local negotiations in collaboration with managers ensuring compliance with local legislation
- Becoming the local expert on one or several of our global HR processes. This can include responsibility as champion or expert for one or several global people processes (e.g. salary review engagement surveys performance & development talent review succession planning) and providing training and support in implementing them regionally or within specified business area.
What You Bring
You are an experienced HR generalist with knowledge of Swedish labour law including Working Environment and collaboration with unions. If you have knowledge of any other Nordic countries employment law we would very much like to hear from you!
As a member of a global team you are expected to take active part in developing our processes and ways of working and ensuring we provide our services to the employees and managers with a One HR mindset. You will actively guide and mentor other members of the Nordic People Advisory team.
We are looking for the following capabilities and competencies in our new colleague:
- Strong experience of employee relations processes and case management
- Fluency in Swedish and strong communication skills in English
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder management capabilities
- Ability to take ownership and drive initiatives and processes
- You have a pragmatic approach to solving problems and help where needed
- You have an improvement mindset and can combine this with your understanding of customer needs to create a great service to our employees and managers
- Ability to work across cultures and in virtual teams and create a collaborative environment
- Extensive experience from working in a people function
- Relevant educational background (university degree in a relevant field)
Our daily tools include Workday and ServiceNow so familiarity with modern HR systems is a strong advantage. Knowledge of the Microsoft environment in particular Excel will be beneficial in this role.
