What you will be doing:

• Opening and closing of the In Room Dining Department
• Processing of guest orders
• Preparation of In Room Dining tables and trays
• Serving of food and beverage
• Clearing of tables and trays from guest rooms and hallways to the Stewarding Area
• Cash integrity and cash out functions
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications :

Your experience and skills include:

• A minimum of one year recent (in the past five years) experience as a Server
• Serving it Right and Food Safe certifications
• Proficiency in the use of a POS system
• Completely fluent in the English language both written and verbal
• Clear precise professional and helpful telephone manner
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to use time efficiently
• A team player with proven success in relationship building
• A high level of responsibility and commitment to provide excellent service and exceed guests expectations
• Broad liquor and wine knowledge
• Must be recommended for Front of House on SRI; WOO Relator (Team) and Responsibility themes must be at predictive or highly predictive levels
• Impeccable grooming and presentation

Additional Information :

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to): 

• Constant standing and walking
• Frequent bending and kneeling
• Frequent carrying and lifting

NOTE:  The position of In Room Dining Server is physically demanding. The successful applicant must be physically capable of standing/walking for 90% of shift performing repetitive work as well as lifting and carrying heavy loads.

Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
