Our current client is a Finnish-owned private network of accounting and auditing companies with offices in Helsinki Stockholm Oslo Tallinn Riga Vilnius Kaunas Kiev Warsaw Budapest and Sofia. The company has more than 30 years of experience in providing payroll and accounting services and is a market leader in the Nordic States currently expanding its operations in Sofia and the region.
On their behalf we are currently looking for a Junior Accounting Analyst who is willing to join their team and help them grow further.
Responsibilities:
- Manage accounting and banking data accounts payable accounts receivable financial reports bank statements etc.;
- Provide operational support in response to the needs of the Accounting and Payroll teams including financial data analysis preparation of deliverables reporting and evaluation of results;
- Apply basic knowledge of accounting practices procedures and internal controls to identify improvement opportunities;
- Drive operational excellence and data integrity to enable analysis and insight;
- Provide timely responses and resolutions to company management;
- Contribute to internal projects for processes enhancement;
- Follow communication procedures guidelines and policies.
Requirements:
- Very good command of MS Excel (Vlookup Pivot What-if etc.);
- University degree in accounting/economics or interest to develop in the field;
- Working level of English language;
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion;
- Responsible proactive good interpersonal skills and ability to work independently;
- Attention to detail while working under tight deadlines;
