The ideal candidate is highly organized detail-oriented and experienced in processing automotive warranty claims efficiently while maintaining OEM compliance and premium warranty status.
Position Summary
The Warranty Administrator is responsible for a wide range of administrative and office support duties related to vehicle warranties. This role works closely with technicians the accounting department and the Service Manager to ensure accuracy compliance and timely reimbursement.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately code and submit warranty claims through the dealerships automated system
Process warranty requests in compliance with manufacturer company and legal standards
Submit track and follow up on all manufacturer warranty claims
Book warranty repair orders and handle rejected or outstanding claims per OEM guidelines
Maintain detailed records of warranty parts including repair order numbers and disposal dates
Stay current on factory recalls bulletins and announcements
Reconcile warranty receivables and collaborate with accounting to collect payments
Maintain all service and customer records as required
Assist with general administrative tasks as needed
Process weekly payroll for the Service team
Audit and monitor the rental fleet
Hours & Work Environment
Onsite office-based position
Monday through Friday schedule
Collaborative positive team-oriented culture
Reports directly to the Service Manager and works closely with technicians
Requirements
5 years of experience submitting automotive warranty claims at an OEM dealership
CKD experience preferred
Strong multitasking organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
