Short Description:

- Roles and Responsibilities:
- End to End delivery responsibility of DBS transformation program.
- Drive and deliver enterprise scale transformation programs and high priority projects related to Core Banking
- Responsible for project delivery on time within budget and with the right quality
- Foster partnership with client and internal stakeholders from business and support units technology counterparts and vendors to articulate project objectives develop and execute project plans
- Manage effective project and program level communications across all stakeholder groups (Business Operations and Technology) at various levels of technical detail
- Define implement and track project and program milestones deliverables KPI-s to ensure success of projects
- Proactively identify and resolve project and program risks and escalate critical issues to the right level of attention in an effective manner
- Drive continuous improvement in the way we execute delivery. Ensure best practices are in place for project execution and management
- Manage project and program level financials and resources.
- Explore Opportunities for additional revenue.
- Skills /Competencies:
- Essential Skills:
- Qualified professional with a university degree in IT / Computer Science / related discipline with an overall experience of 20 years in Core banking Transformation/Implementation programs.
- At least 10 years of hands on Finacle experience Technical and Functional.
- Good Program Management skill to deliver the project within the plan budget time and with quality.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills both verbal and written able to adapt to various levels of detail
- Strong technical skills with a broad range of technologies to be able to make sound estimates decisions and recommendations that are often technical in nature
- Experience working with solution product and deployment teams to develop and propose fit for purpose solutions to business requirements
- Familiar with Agile delivery
- Preferred skills
- 8-10 years of technical project and program management experience preferably in a core banking environment; retail and/or institutional banking experience is an advantage
- Experience with other core banking platforms with familiarity of e.g. Deposits Lending Payment Trade Finance including customization integration deployment data
- A natural team worker with excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate working between client delivery and internal teams across the organization with business partners and vendors
- Very hands-on detail-oriented in every aspect of the project but able to handle ambiguity
- Effective with working in a fast-paced often unstructured environment
- Energetic and energizing character with a strong ability to manage by influence
- Result-driven self-starter and independent worker
- Additional Skills:
- Excellent customer interfacing skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and Problem-solving skills.
