Manulife Indonesia Strategic Business Analyst is accountable for managing Manulife-DBS partnership through various business initiative deliveries. This role will continuously work with relevant internal and external stakeholders in the partnership to seek improvement opportunities to enhance overall business quality and customer experience. This role is a single incumbent position reporting to National Account Head in PB DBS.

The primary purpose of this role is to initiate business strategy and put the strategy into execution to grow the business and achieve partnership. Business strategy here includes program or initiatives to support the sales forces in Manulife and DBS defining the most effective KPI for Manulife sales force to deliver the objective of the business as well as maintain quality of business.

We are looking for someone with:

  • University Degree graduated.
  • Minimum 3 year of experience in Insurance or Banking industry preferably has experience as Strategic Business Analyst
  • Have basic knowledge on Insurance product
  • Good in negotiation skills
  • Highly effective communication and inter-personal skill

Nice to Haves:

  • Ability to build and manage relationships with the key internal stakeholders

On the job you will:

  • Perform analysis on daily sales activities and support Sales Head in identify gaps and define impactful action plans to meet the budget.
  • Ensure deliverable of high value as well as qualified business to sustain the business.
  • Involve in annual business planning and sales drivers exercise as well as preparing initiatives including fast start and other tactical programs and assess the impact towards top line and bottom line to achieve the plan
  • Support presentation material for strategic meetings internally and with bank partner (i.e. local Steering Committee regional Steering Committee Sales & Distribution meeting leaders conference internal and external workshop other strategic deck). This task goes with preparing minutes of meeting from the strategic meetings.
  • Improve efficiency through automation on regular report produced by PB DBS to support sales activity (i.e. Medical Check Up tracking and Policy Value tracking)
  • Support analysis on PB DBS awarding category and winner calculation.
  • Responsible for key initiatives or projects including kick-off event for sales or other initiatives depending on business needs.
  • Responsible for regional and local reporting that is required from PB DBS.
  • Review process and governance and its relevance to the needs of the partnership.
