The Position

As a Senior Dose Surveillance Advisor you will:

  • Lead endtoend dose surveillance activities across multiple clinical trials (startup closeout).
  • Perform routine & adhoc dose reviews identify discrepancies and coordinate traceable followups with sites and medical partners.
  • Document doserelated operational risks in SPOT/COSMOS ensuring inspectionready records.
  • Provide datadriven insights to support trial teams CMMs/Medical Advisors and functional stakeholders.
  • Drive audit & inspection readiness ensuring adherence to ICHGCP SOPs and regulatory expectations.
  • Collaborate closely with Trial Managers on dosing & retentionrelated issues; strengthen relationships with site staff and internal partners.
  • Coach site staff to boost dose compliance practices and improve documentation quality.
  • Contribute to departmental training knowledge sharing and continuous improvement of surveillance methodologies.
  • Champion innovation and support global crossfunctional improvement projects.

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate who have the below

Education: Graduate degree in Life Sciences (MPharma PharmD BDS/MDS Pharmacy MSc Nursing) with strong understanding of clinical trial conduct and ICHGCP.

Experience

  • Minimum 4 years in clinical trials within pharma/biotech/CRO/hospital settings (mandatory).
  • Strong working knowledge of trial data systems and global clinical operations.
  • Experience collaborating with diverse global stakeholders.

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent communication and relationshipbuilding skills.
  • Ability to independently solve complex issues in evolving environments.
  • Strong analytical mindset and familiarity with clinical IT systems.
  • High motivation ownership and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to coach influence and manage stakeholders effectively.

About the department

Novo Nordisks Centralized Monitoring Unit (CMU) in Bangalore is a multidisciplinary team dedicated to advancing clinical trial methodologies. Since 2016 we have been at the forefront of Risk-Based Quality Management (RBQM) enabling early identification assessment and mitigation of risks to clinical data and patient safety.

CMU Bangalore works closely with the RBQM office in Denmark and global trial teams to focus on critical data processes and risks across our portfolio. Our team of medical reviewers central monitors statistical monitors and functional programmers ensures robust data quality oversight trend identification and timely corrective action. Located in Bangalore our dynamic and collaborative atmosphere fosters innovation and excellence in clinical development.
