JobSummary:We areseekingan experienced and dynamicR&D Lab Managerto lead our research and development laboratory focused oninfrastructure and architectural coatings. This role requires a strong blend ofpeopleleadershipproject managementexpertise andtechnical knowledgeto drive innovation and deliver high-quality solutions. The ideal candidate will foster a collaborative environment motivate teams and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
EssentialResponsibilities:
People Management
Lead mentor and develop a diverse team of scientists technicians and support staff.
Create a positive and inclusive work culture that promotes engagement accountability and professional growth.
Project Management
Oversee multiple R&D projects from concept to commercialization ensuring timelines budgets and quality standards are met.
Implement best practices in planning resource allocation and risk management.
Technical Leadership
ProvideexpertiseinEnergy & Infrastructure coatings including formulation testing and performance evaluation.
Stay current with industry trends emerging technologies and regulatory requirements.
Motivational Leadership & Team Engagement
Inspire and energize the team to achieve ambitious goals and deliver innovative solutions.
Organize team-building activities and foster a culture of collaboration and creativity.
Effective Communication
Communicate project updates technical findings and strategicplans clearlyto cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
Prepare and deliver presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Stakeholder Relationship Management
Build andmaintainstrong relationships with suppliers customers and strategic partners.
Represent the R&D function in cross-functional meetings and external collaborations.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors orMasters degree in Chemistry Materials Science Chemical Engineering or relatedfield.
Minimum7 years of experience in R&D with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Proventrack recordincoatingstechnology(infrastructure and architectural applications preferred).
Strong project management skills (PMP certification is a plus).
Excellent interpersonal communication and leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
