This is a non-union positionThe Senior Advisor Environment - Projects provides environmental leadership across a diverse portfolio of U.S. capital this role you will lead and coordinate environmental planning permitting and compliance activities to support safe compliant and timely project execution. What You Will Do
Lead and manage environmental assessment review permitting and approval processes for U.S. GTM capital projects serving as the environmental project lead on initiatives ranging from small to large in scale.
Provide environmental project management support across all phases of development and execution collaborating with Engineering Construction Services Business Development Legal and other internal partners.
Coordinate environmental compliance programs and systems including waste management development of procedures technical documents contract specifications and constructionsupport processes such as inspections and monitoring.
Act as the Companys environmental representative with federal state and local regulatory agencies supporting NEPA reviews agency coordination public meetings and stakeholder engagement.
Manage external vendors consultants and contractors including environmental and waste management services while leading all aspects of project budgets typically ranging from $0.5M to $5.0M.
Who You Are
You hold a bachelors degree in environmental science engineering or a related physical or biological science and bring 7 years of progressive experience in environmental project work.
You have strong experience with environmental permitting and regulatory frameworks with a strong preference for candidates with handson NEPA experience supporting federal or federallyregulated projects.
You are comfortable working independently on complex projects exercising sound judgment and applying seniorlevel technical expertise to solve environmental and regulatory challenges.
You communicate effectively with both technical and nontechnical audiences including regulators landowners contractors and internal leadership.
You are organized diligent and experienced in managing multiple priorities tight deadlines and changing project requirements in a dynamic environment. Ability to travel 25%.
