We are currently seeking a full-timeDental Assistantto join our team atCFRC - Central Florida Reception Centerlocated inOrlando Florida.
The Dental Assistant works under the direct supervision of the Dentist and/or Dental Hygienist in chairside dentistry in a correctional setting.
Essential Duties:
Preparing and sterilizing dental instruments
Preparing and maintaining the dental operatory
Operating radiographic equipment
Administrative tasks as needed
Hours: 6am to 3p Monday-Thursday and 6am to 12:30pm on Friday
Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent required
Completion of a technical school program in dental assisting
Dental Assistant license
Certification as an expanded duty dental assistant preferred; if the candidate does not possess a current certificate one must be obtained in the first year of employment
Certification and/or previous experience performing dental x-rays preferred
Must be in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Ability to obtain a security clearance to include drug screen and criminal background check
Required Experience:
