About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership and management of domestic violence programs including shelters hotline services supportive housing transitional programs and related wraparound services.
- Oversee client screening eligibility and case management practices to ensure safe trauma-informed support.
- Maintain and update program SOPs safety protocols intake materials policies and client information packets.
- Ensure program compliance with legal safety and ethical mandates (including CPS reporting elder abuse mandates suicide risk assessment 5150 etc.).
- Manage facilities to ensure safety cleanliness and a welcoming home-like environment.
- Lead departmental staff meetings and maintain clear communication with organizational leadership.
- Manage departmental budgets spending plans and grant-related financial reporting.
- Oversee contract performance reporting data tracking and outcomes in collaboration with administrative staff.
- Supervise train support evaluate and when necessary terminate program staff interns and trainees.
- Handle client grievances and support crisis/problem-solving needs.
- Represent the organization in community education advocacy training and partnership settings.
- Participate in management team meetings staff meetings fundraising activities and special events as needed.
- Bachelors degree required; Masters degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a nonprofit setting; at least 2 years in residential program management preferred.
- Experience supervising staff conducting evaluations and providing training.
- Experience with planned spending of grant funds and preparation of grant reports.
- Experience managing and monitoring departmental budgets.
- Strong crisis management problem-solving and risk management skills.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Outlook SharePoint and client database systems.
- Must be able to work on-site daily.
- Must have reliable insured transportation for work-related duties including transport of clients when needed.
- Ability to pass required background and motor vehicle checks.
