Job Summary
- Manage and develop a team of hourly employees todrive high engagement and performance including: developing and supporting a culture of listening taking decisive actions recognizing excellent performance and holding employees accountable for undesirable behaviors.
- Consistently and fairly administer and support internal policies and procedures.
- Communicate and provide feedback regularly to the production team including: daily production meetings daily priorities updates on job orderstatus etc.
- Schedule production capacity and planning to meet customer expectations.
- Drive engagement in the safety program to meet zero total recordables.
- Incorporate and foster continuous improvement by utilizing lean principles and determining root cause and corrective measures to reduce waste in the plant.
- Recommend preventative maintenance requirements to guarantee safe and efficient operation of equipment.
- Recommend improvements to manufacturing systems for optimal quality OTD cost.

- Two year Associates Degree plusoneyear of manufacturing experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven Leadership qualities of managing direct reports in fast-paced operations environment.
- Passion for safety of employees.
- Experience motivating and developing employees.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Business or related field of study or equivalent experience.
- Experience with ERP software (JDE preferred).
- 3 years of professional-level manufacturing experience.
- Lean Champion or Lean background.
