Job Summary
Vertex is growing and were looking for a Class 1 Operatorwith experience operating Semi-Vacs Combo Vacs Pressure Trucks and Hot Oilers to join our Nisku Alberta team. Were seeking a local candidate from the Nisku area. Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure customer and client satisfaction by providing excellent customer service at all times
- Comply with Company policies and procedures health and safety procedures Department of Transportation and hazardous materials/waste requirements and regulations
- Perform maintenance on units to ensure cleanliness and efficient operation
- Complete and maintain all required paperwork and documentation properly within set timelines; this includes daily logs dispatch and trip reports and time sheets
- Follow all local provincial and federal compliance regulations and rules
- Perform pre and post trip inspections follow company policies and procedures for routine maintenance perform general housekeeping to ensure units are operating properly and report any inefficiency to Supervisor
- Safely observe all company operating guidelines and procedures
- Observe all company environmental health and safety operating guidelines
Candidate Qualifications
- Drug & Alcohol Testing (Provided by Vertex)
- Valid Class 1 drivers license with a clean commercial drivers abstract
- Minimum of 1 year Class 1 driving experience
- Minimum of 1 year within the oilfield experience
- 1 - 2 years of experience operating Semi Vacs and Combo Vacs (preferred but willing to train)
- 1 - 2 years of experience operating Pressure Trucks and Hot Oilers (preferred but willing to train)
- ELD logbook experience
- Possess H2S Alive First Aid and CSO safety tickets
- Demonstrate a commitment to environmental compliance and safe work practices
- Ability to work independently while managing time and productivity
- Must be in good health and physical condition to perform duties assigned
- Integrity and reliability willing to accept out of town work when applicable/necessary
Assets to Have
- Possess CSTS 2020 Fall Protection and Confined Space Entry & Monitor safety tickets
