What We Offer
The Systems Specialist will primarilybe responsible forthe configuration administration and lifecycle planning for the PCT production systems. Activities include troubleshooting support and development.

Major Responsibilities
Local DCS/SIS/PLC systems administration.
Standardized DCS configuration
Key contact for third party systems maintenance contractors (Puffer HIMA)
Identify develop and implement systems optimization opportunities within the PCT layer for PCT systems (especially in the areas of alarm management of operations efficiency).
Sound knowledge of PCTsystem(s)(DCS HIMA Local PLCPIand all related interfaces etc.)
Support strategic and capital projects involving PCT systems.
Sound knowledge of Covestros Automation standards application
Take a lead role in ensuring OT Security practices are followed
Work closely together with productionOTand PCT engineers tooptimizesystem architecture and lifecycle management
Supportofproduction and PCT for local PCT systems. Systems include DCS Systems HIMA Local PLCPIand all related interfaces etc.
What You Offer
Basic Qualifications
Associates degree in Engineeringor related field andat least6years of experience with production control systems ORBachelors degree in Engineeringor related field andat least3years of experience with production control systems
The eligibility to apply for and obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) within a reasonabletimeframe
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor orMastersdegree in ICA(Instrumentation Control Automation) Engineering or related fields
Thorough understanding of PCT concepts / practices and good understanding of maintenance and project management
Good knowledge of Engineering tools and software - SAPMeridium
Knowledge & Skills:
Proficient programming skills.
Strong analytical andproblem-solvingskills
Able to work well in a team environment
Able to work and act autonomously andassertively.
Demonstrate self-directed and non-authoritative leadership skills
Good written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
