Business Manager to the Head of Capital Markets and Advisory NL and the Head of Transaction Services NL

CMA NL is the single center of excellence for advisory business and related financing across Wholesale Banking with a mission to support clients across the entire value chain especially in transformation moments. The business operates across EMEA Americas and APAC and has 4 main product areas: Corporate Finance Global Capital Markets Acquisition Finance and Loan Distribution Group.

TS NL provides Payments and Cash Management Working Capital Solutions and Trade Finance Services. The team supports clients across the full treasury and working capital spectrum ranging from liquidity and cash pooling to supply chain finance receivables solutions letters of credit and guarantees. TS collaborates intensively with Sectors and COO to deliver integrated client solutions.

Your role

In this role you support the Heads of CMA and TS in setting and executing strategic priorities. You work at strategic tactical and operational levels. You run the planning and execution rhythm ensure high quality management information prepare decision materials and translate strategic intentions and ambiguous topics into actions with clear ownership and follow up.

You also serve as a linking pin between CMA and TS and the wider WBNL organization. You help ensure alignment coordinate cross domain initiatives support regulatory and risk related activities and contribute to continuous improvement of processes clarity and collaboration.

You will report directly to both the Head of CMA NL and the Head of TS NL. Both leaders report into the Head of Wholesale Banking Netherlands. You will work closely with the CMA and TS Management Teams while collaborating with the Business Manager to the Head of Wholesale Banking Netherlands and relevant WBNL stakeholders (e.g. HQ WB Functional Heads Finance HRBPs).

Who are we looking for

We are looking for a highly organized and delivery-oriented Business Manager for our Head of Capital Markets and Advisory NL (CMA) and Head of Transaction Services NL (TS). You support both senior leaders by structuring the strategic agenda supporting execution preparing high quality decision materials and coordinating stakeholders across their respective domains as well as Wholesale Banking Netherlands (WBNL).

You combine maturity strong judgement and the ability to structure complex topics into clear actionable insights. You bring a structured approach to diagnosing issues framing problems logically and shaping clear solution paths for leaders. You can operate independently you enjoy a fast paced and challenging environment and you communicate confidently with senior management while keeping an eye on detail and quality.

Your responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to both leaders and act as their right hand in preparing structuring and following up on key topics.
• Support the CMA and TS Management Teams with meeting agendas decision preparation documentation and timely follow-up.
• Convert strategic priorities into execution plans with clear milestones KPIs ownership and progress tracking.
• Support the Dynamic Plan and forecasting cycle with Finance and ensure a clear and consistent planning rhythm.
• Prepare crisp and well-structured materials for senior audiences including briefings business cases presentations town halls and proposals.
• Lead or support cross domain initiatives related to client development commercial performance capital efficiency and operational improvements.
• Strengthen management information and data quality to support fact-based decision making including standardizing MI and ensuring reliable reporting.
• Support people and organizational topics such as MT offsites role clarity and change activities across CMA and TS.
• Identify and implement improvements in processes ways of working and collaboration to remove friction and enhance delivery.

• You communicate clearly and confidently both verbally and in writing while creating clear narratives that help stakeholders quickly understand issues options and recommended actions
• You collaborate naturally and can work effectively with different teams and personalities
• You have strong skills in 1) PowerPoint to create decks for senior audiences with clear storylines and supporting visuals 2) Excel to conduct quantitative analyses and 3) Word to develop memos when needed

Requirements

• At least a Bachelor level of education
• At least two years of professional experience
• Proven knowledge of Wholesale Banking required CMA/TS specific knowledge is a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills and organizational sensitivity
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally
• Strong analytical and structured problemsolving skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations
• High quality written and spoken English
