Responsibilities

What youll do...

The primary responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

  • Launch Support (Super Duty):
    • Support the Super Duty launch by validating manufacturing tools facilities and process readiness.
    • Ensure future programs are launched with zero defects by implementing lessons learned and prevent-recurrence actions.
    • Manage PVT responsibilities for minor programs capacity changes and running changes ensuring assembly feasibility and issue resolution.
  • Quality & Process Leadership:
    • Lead Variability Reduction Teams (VRT) for Sheet Metal and Wind Noise process/manufacturing concerns.
    • Drive current model quality concerns (reducing R/1000) and address Warranty/Build Issues with supporting data at Daily Quality Meetings.
    • Review daily Vehicle Warranty for proper binning (Process Design Supplier Design Supplier Process).
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Provide manufacturing input into the development and prioritization of vehicle quality roadmaps containment and corrective actions.
    • Lead the implementation of tools technologies and error-proofing methods to resolve process/manufacturing-related issues.
    • Support Health Chart assessments for Sheet Metal / Wind Noise and verify containment actions.
    • Support Vehicle Quality Review report-outs with manufacturing analysis using 6-Sigma problem-solving tools.


Qualifications

Youll have...

Education

  • Bachelors Degree of Science in Engineering Mechanical Electrical or a related discipline. (Successful candidates will be required to provide proof of diploma/degree completion for the highest level of education attained. If the degree was obtained from a school outside of Canada an Education Credential Assessment report showing Canadian equivalency is also required).

Experience

  • At least 2 years of experience with manufacturing and assembly operations and/or vehicle launches.

Even better if you have..

  • Background in Six Sigma and/or FMEA principles.
  • Project Management skills.
  • Body Construction Manufacturing Engineering program understanding.
  • Experience with Super Duty or Truck body construction processes.
  • Self-starter requiring minimal direction with proven problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to operate in a multi-tasking demanding environment and meet timing deadlines.

The expected annual salary range for this position is $74 000 - $ 124 000 and individuals may be eligible to participate in our Annual Compensation bonus program.
