Job Summary
St. Mary Catholic School seeks an enthusiastic and highly talented 3rd grade teacher for the 26/27 school year. The successful candidate will teach in a self-contained classroom and be responsible for other duties as assigned by the principal. The candidate should possess a BA/BS degree State teacher certification and also:
-Demonstrate effective planning skills by preparing lessons aligned to state standards.
-Be familiar with the Science of Reading research.
-Develop and use multiple forms of assessment and evaluation to ensure student growth.
-Establish a system of classroom management that promotes self-direction self-regulation and a positive self-image.
-Maintain an active and engaging learning environment.
-Communicate professionally and effectively with students parents faculty and administration
