Position Summary:

The Field Service Technician is responsible for the installation maintenance and repair of mobile power units powered by natural gas. This role performs extensive fieldwork and provides technical support to ensure the efficient and safe operation of power generation equipment.

Essential Functions:

• Install commission and test natural gas-powered mobile power units at various client sites
• Conduct routine and preventative maintenance and diagnostics on power generation systems to ensure optimal performance
• Troubleshoot mechanical electrical and control system issues in the field
• Respond to emergency service calls to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to power units Adhere to company and customer safety policies procedures and regulatory requirements
• Maintain accurate service records including diagnostics repairs and parts used.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops reviewing professional publications and participating in professional societies
• Frequent travel to various job sites at times with short notice

Physical Demands

• Required stand for long periods.

• Exposure to extreme weather conditions (heat cold rain snow ice).
• Exposure to potentially dangerous work areas and environments.

Minimum Education Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

Minimum Experience:

Two (2) years of relevant experience

OR equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the duties of the job

Driving Requirements:

Must possess a valid drivers license must be at least 21 years of age with a minimum of three (3) years of driving history. Must maintain a satisfactory driving record to safely operate company vehicles.
