Job Summary
About the role
A great opportunity has arisen in our HeidelbergTrade Centre Mitre10 business for a casual experienced Customer Service / Trade Desk Sales person. This position is store based working within our Trade team.
You will have previous sales experience using P.O.S and experience with cash handling. Your ability to build strong relationships with customers within the residential building industry will see you succeed in this dynamic role having a passion for outstanding customer service.
What you will be doing
Being safe as safety is part of our everyday culture
Deliver excellent customer service through counter sales quotes delivery orders etc.
Goods inwards procedures
Stock replenishment Adhering to store retail standards
Picking and packing orders
Using POS and other technical systems
What you will bring
Strong customer service focus
- Great attention to detail
Ability to navigate and utilise computer systems and technology
Ability to multi task in a dynamic fast paced trade business
Previous experience in a similar Counter sales / Trade Sales position
An understanding of the Timber & Hardware market with previous experience is desirable but not essential
Ability to work closely in a diverse team
- A current forklift licence an advantage
