About the role

AEMOs System Design Division is responsible for planning the power system in the context of unprecedented transformation. The rapid transition to renewable energy generation and electrification of many sectors (transport industry etc) has seen sharp rises in proposed transmission connection projects.

As Team Administrator youll play a pivotal role in supporting the dynamic Onboarding and Connections team within System Design. If you are highly organised proactive and thrive in deadline driven environments this is your opportunity to shine and elevate your team support skills to new heights.

What you will be doing

  • Efficiently organise meetings and resolve scheduling conflicts.
  • Triage and address emails escalating to relevant team members when necessary.
  • Involvement in the end-to-end process of committee paper administration ensuring all documents are meticulously prepared reviewed and distributed in the desired timeframe.
  • Coordinate all aspects of travel arrangements including flights accommodations and transportation ensuring seamless and stress-free travel experiences.
  • Partner with Department teams to support the achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned with AEMOs corporate plan.
  • Provide accurate and timely administrative support including processing expenses and invoices formatting correspondence and reports creating purchase orders and timely payment of invoices.

  • Ability to leverage your experience with Microsoft Teams SharePoint OneDrive DocuSign and Adobe Acrobat to enhance our operations.
  • Bring your wealth of experience in a similar administrative role to our dynamic team.
  • Your talent for prioritising projects and daily tasks skilfully managing both internal and external deadlines.
  • Proficiency in managing complex calendars and diaries with accuracy and effectiveness ensuring seamless scheduling and optimal time management for the team.
  • Expertise in the Microsoft Office suite including Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook to contribute to our teams achievements.
