About the Role
A leading organization in the Insurance sector is looking for a proactive Automation Engineer to join its Quality Engineering team in Lisbon. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about test automation continuous testing and software quality who enjoy working closely with product and development teams in an agile and collaborative environment.
You will play a key role in defining and executing automation strategies using Playwright ensuring reliable scalable and high-quality digital products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain automated test scripts with Playwright
- Translate business and technical requirements into robust test scenarios and cases
- Ensure high test coverage through structured and maintainable automation frameworks
- Execute automated and manual tests analyze results and report defects with precision
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing
- Drive continuous improvement of QA processes tools and frameworks
- Act as a quality bridge between QA Product Owners and development teams
Experience & Profile
- 3 years of experience in test automation
- Strong hands-on expertise with Playwright
- Solid knowledge of the software testing lifecycle and quality best practices
- Proven experience integrating automation into CI/CD workflows
Technical Skills
- Test Automation: Playwright
- Programming: Python JavaScript or Java
- CI/CD & DevOps: Jenkins GitLab CI Azure DevOps (or similar)
- Testing Practices: Scenario design test execution defect management
- Methodologies: Agile / Scrum DevOps
