Analyst role – Sector Real Estate Netherlands

The REI sector is looking for a dedicated professional to join the Real Estate sector team in the Netherlands (5FTE) as an Analyst.

The Real Estate Sectors Team within our Sector Teams provides strategic advisory and financing solutions to clients across the real estate industry including property developers REITs institutional investors and private equity firms. We work on high-profile transactions such as acquisitions rating advisory capital raising (both debt and equity) and debt structuring.

This is a role in a dynamic and challenging environment with many internal and external stakeholders and where there is a lot of room to develop for somebody demonstrating a curious proactive and self-learning approach.

The role also involves various activities including overseeing a portfolio of clients that will be assigned to you as assistant PAM. You will become jointly responsible with the PAM for these clients. As well as that you will help out the rest of the team with all operational matters.

You will report functionally to the Head of Real Estate Netherlands.

Your key responsibilities

• You will oversee all the operational discussions related to the clients in your portfolio and manage all efforts related to KYC of the team
• You will take responsibility for all kind of requests that come our way from multiple stakeholders
• You will analyze financing requests and present and discuss financing propositions within the team
• You will run general client and market analysis in support of origination activities
• Help prepare client presentations and marketing materials for transactions and advisory mandates
• Part of your role will be to support the team with KYC responsibility across the NL client portfolio for those activities remaining in the Sector scope
• You will create an account plan for all clients that you are responsible for and discuss and finalize with the PAM

Requirements

• Masters degree in economics or equivalent academic qualification
• 3 years experience in banking/lending products within international environment
• Keen interest in the REI sector business and strategy
• You have strong analytical skills a structured way of working and the ability to work with tight deadlines with multiple urgent tasks
• You have a curious attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to talk to clients
• Authentic and confident presentation and communication skills
• High level of self-motivation and commercial drive
• Prior knowledge of the CDD and KYC processes and guidelines is a plus
• Attentive to compliance and governance issues
• You manage confidential information with sensitivity and professionalism
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in written in English
