What you will do:
This position is integrated into the Renewable Generation Assets platform within the Solar BESS HV and Electrical organizational unit which comprises a team of 14 people.
The position will report directly to the Central Maintenance Associate Director.
The main goal of this position is to provide specialized electrical engineering support to operating renewable generation assets focused on high voltage and low voltage electrical systems of substations power lines wind turbines and PV Solar sites.
The role includes supporting the definition coordination and supervision of maintenance and inspection activities major corrective actions retrofits and repairs of electrical components both on-site and in workshops ensuring compliance with established procedures safety standards quality requirements and company policies.
The Electrical HV Specialist contributes to the analysis and resolution of electrical incidents applying defined methodologies and technical criteria and escalating complex or non-standard cases to the Expert level when required. The position works in close collaboration with O&M teams service providers and internal stakeholders to ensure reliable asset operation and continuous improvement of maintenance practices.
General responsibilities:
Support the definition and update of programs and procedures for operation and maintenance activities tests and inspections of HV/LV electrical systems ensuring compliance with established standards safety requirements and quality guidelines.
Apply corporate procedures consistently across assets and technologies.
Analyse electrical failures and incidents considering health & safety operational and economic impacts.
Apply defined root cause analysis methodologies and corrective actions escalating complex recurrent or high-impact cases to the Expert level.
Support the implementation and follow-up of corrective and preventive actions.
Provide technical support to O&M site teams during major corrective actions in operating facilities.
Analyse technical and economic aspects of corrective interventions under established criteria contributing to improved maintenance performance.
Support the assessment of major electrical components including compatibility analysis inspection results and repair proposals.
Review repair reports and contribute to the evaluation of repair quality in accordance with defined standards and procedures.
Support O&M Business Units during commissioning inspections and end-of-warranty assessments.
Contribute to the identification of technical issues and corrective actions to ensure assets are transferred into stable operating conditions.
Support the definition of technical specifications for external engineering and maintenance services.
Participate in the supervision of outsourced works ensuring compliance with safety quality and contractual requirements.
Manage daily activities using corporate systems and tools.
Ensure accurate technical documentation reporting and data quality.
Apply occupational health and safety environmental and quality policies in all assigned activities.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal procedures.
