St Vincents Private Hospital Melbourne (SVPHM) is a facility of St Vincents Health Australia under the stewardship of Mary Aikenhead Ministries. We are a not for profit Catholic private hospital which operates across four sites at:

Fitzroy East Melbourne Kew and Werribee.

Exciting opportunities currently exist for Registered Nurses and Endorsed Enrolled Nurses across our four sites our Fitzroy campus is nearing its redevelopment completion. We now have new operating theatres ICU new maternity services and inpatient wards. As a casual - Resource Unit staff member you will have the flexibility to work a variety of shifts across our diverse health services with a broad range of specialties to choose from that meet your qualifications and career aspirations.

Our specialties include:

  • Surgical Services: cardiothoracic colorectal ENT neurosurgery orthopaedics plastics urology
  • General Medical
  • Cardiology (including Cath Lab)
  • Critical Care Services (ICU CCU HDU)
  • Maternity Services
  • Paediatric Services
  • Rehabilitation
  • Sleep Studies Centre
  • Oncology (including Day Oncology)
  • Day Procedure Unit

ABOUT YOU:

  • A minimum of 1 years acute clinical experience post registration
  • Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
  • Deliver high individualised patient centered care according to best practice guidelines
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Working rights within Australia
  • Be a team player
  • Willing to be flexible according to departmental needs be able to work across all areas
