Overview

You will play a critical role in protecting the Corporate Banks Anti-Financial Crime (AFC) technology environment by ensuring risks are identified assessed and addressed before they become larger issues. You will partner closely with technology and control teams to strengthen risk practices improve control effectiveness and maintain regulatory readiness. Your work will directly support the stability security and compliance of systems that help prevent financial crime. You will balance detailed control analysis with a broader view of technology risk across the portfolio helping the organization stay ahead of emerging threats and expectations.

What Youll Do

  • Proactively identify assess and manage technology risks and control gaps across the Anti-Financial Crime technology portfolio
  • Lead and support remediation of audit regulatory and self-identified findings to ensure timely and sustainable resolution
  • Design and execute testing to evaluate the effectiveness and durability of technology and information security controls
  • Partner with application owners to strengthen control design improve evidence quality and close gaps aligned to Key Risk Indicators (KRIs)
  • Prepare critical applications and teams for audits and regulatory examinations by improving risk transparency and control readiness
  • Contribute to risk reduction initiatives and technology risk programs that improve the overall control environment within Corporate Bank Technology

How Youll Lead

  • Partner with Anti-Financial Crime technology leaders and application owners to embed strong risk and control practices into day-to-day operations
  • Collaborate with Risk Compliance and Audit stakeholders to ensure alignment with regulatory expectations and enterprise standards
  • Influence cross-functional technology and control teams to prioritize remediation strengthen control design and drive a culture of proactive risk management

Skills Youll Need

  • Experience in technology risk management technology controls testing audit or risk advisory within a regulated environment
  • Strong understanding of information security controls technology risk frameworks and control design principles
  • Ability to assess risk issues document findings clearly and define practical corrective actions

Expectations

It is the Banks expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Banks hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Cary is $100000 to $185000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including but not limited to a candidates skill set experience education work location and other qualifications.
