Role Description
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Project Manager with strong understanding of business processes along with solid analytical and problem-solving skills to lead the implementation of a Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) platform. The IT Project Manager will partner with a cross-functional team to: develop functional requirements use cases and acceptance criteria to ensure successful delivery of complex enterprise solutions. The ideal candidate will manage project timelines budgets and stakeholder communications while also gathering requirements analyzing processes and supporting process mapping.
This role reports to the Director of GRC Technology.
Role Objectives: Delivery
- Lead end-to-end project lifecycle management including defining scope and deliverables while ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Build strong partnerships with stakeholders to refine scope and timelines; promote coordination across workstreams to align with overarching objectives.
- Develop and maintain project plans schedules and resource allocations.
- Manage risks issues and dependencies across multiple workstreams.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings and provide regular status updates.
- Ensure compliance with organizational PMO standards and methodologies.
- Gather document and validate business and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to documents solution design.
- Analyze existing processes and recommend improvements aligned with best practices.
- Support data mapping integration and migration activities.
- Coordinate and assist with user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders technical teams and vendors.
- Facilitate transition to operation for platform support during implementation and post-go live.
- Monitor program delivery assess outcomes and adjust plans or timelines as needed to ensure sustainability and completeness.
Qualifications and Skills
Required Skills:
- Strong project management skills with experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Solid understanding of IT systems integrations and data management.
- Excellent business analysis skills: requirements gathering process mapping and documentation.
- Proficient in tools such as MS Project JIRA Confluence and MS Office Suite.
- Exceptional communication stakeholder management and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Outstanding time management skills should be able to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Business or related field.
- 5 years of experience in IT project management roles preferably in financial services industry.
- 3 years of experience performing technical business analysis.
- Experience with GRC platform implementations is highly preferred.
- PMP PRINCE2 or Agile certification (Scrum Master) is a plus.
- Scrum Master experience is a plus
- Strong understanding of governance risk and compliance frameworks.
- Nice to have: Technical proficiency in GRC platforms (e.g. SAI360 RSA Archer ServiceNow GRC or similar).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in large enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards (e.g. SOX GDPR).
- Ability to manage vendor relationships and third-party integrations.
- Advanced data analysis and reporting skills.
