Job Summary
Description -
We are looking for an experienced front-end engineer to join our team inCambridge. You will be working on the Controller - a web application which manages and reports on our security products.
The controller also collects aggregates and reports on threat telemetry which HP are in a unique position to collect.
Youll be at the forefront of cyber research and intelligence and youll be trusted to suggest and investigate then deliver new ideas (see you will do as a Front-End Developer:
Design and build new user interfaces as well as maintaining existing ones (React Typescript )
Maintain and improve the test infrastructure (Jest)
Maintain and improve the build systems (Webpack)
Work closely with back end developers to steer API design

As part of a small focused and talented team youll get the support to deliver high quality reliable work & youll be trusted to suggest investigate and deliver new ideas. And you will also work on hybrid basis from our office in Cambridge.
Technical requirements for the Front-End Developer:
HTML CSS JS/Typescript
React
A great Front-End Developer will have-
Experience with long-lived large-scale front-end projects
Python / Django
AWS
Knowledge of how to write code in an accessibility friendly way
Knowledge of web security issues and how to design to avoid them

Inspired by the isolation principles of traditional virtualization our team known then as Bromium created a game-changing technology called micro-virtualization to protect end users against advanced malware. Every task the user performs such as opening a document or clicking on a link is isolated in its own micro-VM with access to just the resources required for that task and existing just for the life of the task. Protection is thus provided through isolation without relying on detection hence reliably defending the user from polymorphic and even zero-day malware.
Bromium was acquired by HP Inc on 19 September 2019 forming HP Wolf Security.
