Job Summary

The Product Developer manages the end-to-end development cycle of a garment from the initial design concept to the final production handover. This role is responsible for ensuring the product meets the aesthetic vision price points and delivery timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the critical path to ensure all development milestones and delivery dates are met.
Source fabrics trims and components that align with the design brief and the budget.
Coordinate with the design and technical teams to create accurate Tech Packs for the factories.
Negotiate costs with suppliers to achieve the required gross margin and target price.
Monitor the sampling process ensuring prototypes are delivered on time and meet the quality standards.
Act as the primary point of contact for global vendors to manage the development of the collection.

Requirements

Proven experience in product development or sourcing within the fashion industry.
Strong understanding of garment construction fabric sourcing and the manufacturing process.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PLM systems; experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
Highly commercial mindset with strong negotiation and communication skills.
