We are hiring Events Manager;
As a Events Manager we rely on you to:
- Execute strategic events sales plans to achieve revenue targets including identifying new business opportunities nurturing client relationships and expanding the hotels banquet customer base.
- Handle client inquiries complaints and special requests promptly and professionally resolving issues to maintain high client satisfaction and loyalty.
- Negotiate contracts pricing and terms with clients ensuring compliance with hotel policies while maximizing profitability.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional departments (such as catering and housekeeping etc.) to ensure seamless event execution from planning to post-event follow-up.
- Monitor market trends competitor activities and industry best practices to adjust sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge in the local market.
We are looking for someone who:
- Minimum 4 years of progressive experience in Event sales within a luxury hotel or high-end event venue with at least 1 year in a manager role.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets driving revenue growth and building long-term client relationships.
- Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients team members and senior management.
- In-depth knowledge of banquet operations event planning catering services and industry standards; familiarity with event management software is preferred.
- Passion for hospitality attention to detail and a customer-centric mindset.
- Fluent in oral and written English.
- Flexible schedule including the ability to work evenings weekends and holidays as required by event schedules.
