Job Description

Our Cloud Platform & Automation (CPAT) team is driving the company-wide transformation from traditional Ops to a No-Ops future. Were looking for a senior architect-level engineer with a strong systems background to design and build the robust automated multi-cloud platform that powers our entire business.

This isnt just a maintenance role. You will be a key technical leader responsible for architecting the future of how we deliver software. Your mission is to codify everything eliminate manual toil and empower hundreds of developers with a secure scalable and truly self-service platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect Multi-Cloud Solutions: Lead the design development and management of our core cloud platform ecosystem across AWS and GCP ensuring it is secure scalable and cost-efficient.

• Lead IaC Strategy: Drive our everything-as-code philosophy. You will architect and build complex reusable Infrastructure as Code (IaC) modules using Terraform and other tools.

• Own the CI/CD Platform: Take full ownership of our CI/CD strategy leading the enhancement of our pipelines (Jenkins Azure DevOps) to optimize for build speed security scanning and reliable automated deployments.

• Develop Self-Service Tools: Build the paved path for developers. This includes creating dashboards for visibility REST APIs for integration and simple UIs to empower users with self-service capabilities.

• Embed Security & Governance: Partner with the security team to architect and automate technical enforcement of security policies compliance guardrails and cost management.

• Lead Technical Evaluation: Drive proof-of-concept (POC) projects for new cloud services and technologies analyze their business value and provide expert recommendations to leadership.

Basic Requirements

• BS degree and 3 years experience or in Computer Science and/or related field

• 4 years of Full Stack Development

• 4 years of scripting and software development

• 3 years of Experience with unix/linux/windows

• 3 years of experience working on Azure and/or AWS

• Availability to work 2 days per week in our office in Kraków (Czerwone Maki 82)

Core Qualifications (The Must-Haves)

• Cloud Expertise: Expert-level knowledge of at least one major cloud provider (Azure or AWS) and strong proficiency with the other.

• IaC Mastery: A deep proven track record of architecting and building complex production-grade systems using Terraform.

• CI/CD Architecture: Advanced knowledge of SDLC/Agile practices and proven experience designing and managing complex CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins Azure DevOps).

• Automation Development: Strong software development skills in an automation-focused language (Python strongly preferred PowerShell or Go) used for building tools and APIs not just simple scripts.

• Systems Engineering: A strong background in infrastructure fundamentals including Linux/Windows administration advanced networking (DNS Firewalls Load Balancing) and security principles.

• API & Microservice Skills: Experience developing and consuming REST APIs and a strong understanding of microservice architecture.

• Leadership Mindset: A strategic self-motivated mindset with the flexibility to handle multiple priorities mentor other engineers and drive projects to completion.

Preferred Qualifications (The Nice-to-Have)

• Cloud Certifications: (e.g. Azure Solutions Architect Expert AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional).

• Container Orchestration: Production experience with Kubernetes (AKS EKS) and container-based workflows.

• Configuration Management: Experience with tools like Ansible Chef or Puppet.

• Automated Testing: Experience with infrastructure and security testing methodologies.
