Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Procedural & Surgical Intermediate Care Unit (4HH East)

Department Overview:
This 24-bed cardiac surgical/procedural IMCU provides care to pre and post cardiac surgery patients to include: bypass surgery cardiac valve repairs/replacementsthoracic surgery/lung diagnostics and other cardiac based procedures and treatments such as ablations left atrial appendages ICDs and permanent pacemakers. The unit also provides a high level of care to patients with cardiac arrhythmias heart failure and chest pain.
Dedicated to high quality care patient outcomes safety and teamwork is a standard of the staff
Nurses handle 3-4 patients on this unit based on acuity level. At times RNs could be up to 5 patients depending in staffing

Education
Associates Bachelors Masters or diploma in the Nursing Field required
Certification/Licensure
Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
Basic Life Support (BLS)
ACLS
NIH Stroke Scale
Experience
Must have 2 or more years of recent acute care hospital RN experience
