Job Summary

description:

Performs basic and critical respiratory care services. Has the ability to work well without supervision as well as maintain supervision over others as delegated. Provides respiratory care services for the adult and geriatric patient. Provides respiratory care for patients with respiratory disease as ordered by the physician and in accordance with current department policies concerning all phases of respiratory therapy. Completes paperwork electronic medical records flow sheets and charges for each patient. This position is represented by RCHEA.

Day Shift 3 x 12s Wednesday - Friday/Thursday - Saturday. 0530 - 1800; Must have BLS PALS ACLS NRP. Must be able to do EKGS and ABGs. No Call but may have opportunity to pick up additional OR CERTIFICATIONS: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential and Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license RequiredLICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification RequiredLICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification RequiredLICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification RequiredLICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification RequiredLICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS: Pediatric Emergency Assessment Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS) certification Preferred
