Job Summary

Purpose of the Role:

To design implement and maintain scalable data solutions within SAP Datasphere (or equivalent modern data platform) with a strong focus on data modelling integration and optimization to support analytics reporting and business decision-making

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Design and build conceptual logical and physical data models within Datasphere.
Develop and maintain semantic layers views and data products aligned to business requirements.
Integrate diverse data sources (cloud on-premises APIs flat files) into Datasphere.
Ensure data quality governance security and compliance with enterprise standards.
Optimize models for performance and scalability.
Collaborate with BI analytics and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust data models.
Provide technical documentation and knowledge transfer.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelors degree in information systems Computer Science or related field.
Proven experience with SAP Datasphere (or SAP Data Warehouse Cloud) and strong data modelling background.
Proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts Snowflake Azure Google Big Query
Experience with data integration tools and cloud platforms (e.g. SAP BTP Azure AWS GCP).
Understanding of star/snowflake schemas dimensional modelling and semantic modelling.
Knowledge of data governance security concepts and best practices.
Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills.

Experience:

7 years experience in data engineering data modelling or BI development.
Hands-on experience with Datasphere or equivalent cloud-based data platforms.
