Job Summary
Supports and is responsible for incorporating into job performance the Frederick Health (FH) mission vision core values and customer service philosophy and adheres to the FH Compliance Program including following all regulatory requirements and the FH Standards of Behavior.
Example of Essential Functions:
Performs inventory functions of laboratory which includes ordering weekly supplies and organizing them as appropriate.
Responsible for cleaning and preparation of surgical pathology area and morgue specimen pick-up from operation room and specimen discard per policies.
Required to assist with autopsy under the direction of the pathologist and for other morgue or laboratory functions as assigned.
Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Ability to understand and follow specific clinical protocol specifications and procedures. Passing score on data entry test and medical terminology test required.
Minimum Education Training and Experience Required:
High school education or the equivalent required.
No previous experience required. On-the-job training is provided.

Pay is based on experience skills and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standard Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on specialty if applicable. Non-Exempt positions may have shift differential and/or Overtime paid if applicable.
Pay range: Hourly Rate $17.00 -$18.36
Full Time with Benefits - Monday - Friday - 7:00am-3:30pm
