About the Job

Were excited to offer an opportunity for two (2) Project Coordinator Co-op Students to join our road construction team for Summer 2026 in Niagara Falls. This is a 4-month co-op/internship designed for students who want real-world exposure to construction projectsfrom the office to the job site.

Work Term: May 2026 August 2026
Rate:$20-$25/hour based on experience and qualifications.

This role requires a valid G drivers license and access to a reliable personal vehicle to support travel to job sites. Most travel is local with occasional provincial travel. Mileage reimbursement is provided.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Assisting with project planning scheduling documentation and reporting

  • Supporting field teams through site visits quantity tracking and daily reports

  • Monitoring project progress and helping prepare job cost reports for management

  • Tracking costs purchase orders and invoices

  • Coordinating communication between project teams subcontractors and suppliers

  • Maintaining accurate and well-organized project files and records

  • Liaising with project personnel and conducting on-site visits to clarify scope timelines and deadlines

  • Responding to routine project-related inquiries

Heres What You Need

  • Enrollment in a post-secondary program in Civil Engineering Engineering Technology or a related field

  • A valid drivers license and access to your own transportation

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

  • The ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook)

  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills

  • A proactive mindsetyou anticipate needs and take initiative

  • An adaptable approach comfortable working with diverse teams and personalities
