About Oracles Global License Management Services (LMS):
Oracle LMS leads the market in audit services building long-term strategic customer relationships through proactive education and empowerment. LMS Consultants support customers in licensing compliance while helping grow the overall LMS business in collaboration with diverse internal teams.
Role Overview:
We are seeking an LMS Consultant with solid experience in software license management compliance and risk management. The ideal candidate will possess a legal background in intellectual property compliance or fraud prevention and demonstrate strong analytical and communication skills. You will directly interface with customers at various levelsincluding C-level executives and technical stakeholdersand act as the main Oracle authority on license compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Advise and educate customers regarding Oracles software licensing policies and compliance requirements.
Lead and manage licensing audits investigations and resolution of compliance issues including over-deployment non-genuine product usage or related risks.
Analyze data and prepare clear actionable reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and customers.
Develop strong long-term relationships with customers advocating a customer-first approach in all interactions.
Collaborate across Oracles internal functions to ensure seamless delivery of LMS services.
Contribute to process improvements and knowledge sharing within the LMS team.
Key Qualifications:Bachelors or Masters degree in Law Business IT or a related field; advanced education in legal or compliance topics is a plus.
Extensive experience in license management compliance intellectual property or fraud prevention in a technology environment.
Certified Fraud Examiner or similar compliance/cybersecurity certification (preferred but not mandatory).
Strong understanding of IT environments and software licensing concepts.
Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to engage stakeholders from C-level executives to technical teams.
Exceptional analytical investigation and reporting skills.
High attention to detail and a commitment to upholding compliance and governance standards.
Multilingual ability (e.g. strong English native Japanese basic Mandarin) is highly valued.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work with international teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
Performs business planning for assigned segment. Executes complex license management engagements/programs with customers and partners following defined standard processes that aid in the proper management and distribution of Oracle products. Uses expertise in contractual agreements licensing policies technical verification compliance processes and other relevant areas to provide analysis and license management related advisement. Works with sales customers and partners to ensure compliance issues are resolved while preserving business relationships. Drives the project planning implementation control and communication of assigned engagements/programs. Partners with other Oracle organizations in planning and conducting engagements/programs. Shares expertise and experience in mentoring others. Contributes to cross-team projects aimed at leveraging best practices and increasing organizational effectiveness.
