The Center of Excellence in Behavioral Health Nursing at MUSC seeks a full-time Postdoctoral Fellow to join a dynamic interdisciplinary team advancing trauma-focused behavioral health research and clinical care. This one-year fellowship (with the possibility of renewal for a second year) provides mentored research training as well as other training that aligns with the candidates needs and interests (e.g. clinical experience with patient populations).Entity

Job Description
Qualifications
Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology Nursing Science Public Health or related behavioral/social science.
Demonstrated interest in trauma-focused or behavioral health research.
Experience with quantitative qualitative or mixed-methods approaches preferred.

The Center is dedicated to improving access quality and innovation in behavioral health care through education research and clinical practice. The Center provides infrastructure for mixed-methods research implementation science and digital health innovation with access to pilot funding mentorship from NIH-funded faculty and collaboration opportunities across nursing and psychiatry. Contribute to ongoing studies and develop independent research ideas and grant proposals.
Prepare manuscripts presentations and conference submissions.
Participate in professional development activities seminars and interdisciplinary collaborations.
Training & Mentorship
Fellows will receive individualized mentorship protected time for scholarly development access to large data sets and support for external training and conference participation. The position provides a pathway toward independence as a clinical scientist and academic leader.
