Job Summary

Call Center Representative Healthcare Provider Support

Location: Austin onsite local candidates only
Pay Rate:$20.00 per hour
Employment Type: Full time contract to hire based on performance
Schedule: Any 8-hour shift between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM

Role Overview

This position supports healthcare and Medicaid provider networks by delivering accurate unbiased assistance to providers and clients. The role is highly metrics-driven and requires consistent performance in a fast-paced high-volume contact center environment. Representatives serve as a critical point of contact for program inquiries while ensuring compliance accuracy and exceptional service standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to high-volume inbound phone calls from Medicaid providers and clients
  • Address inquiries related to eligibility medical claims status and program-specific questions
  • Provide clear accurate and unbiased information in a professional manner
  • Resolve issues or escalate concerns following established procedures
  • Document all interactions thoroughly and accurately in online systems
  • Transfer calls to appropriate call center units when necessary
  • Meet or exceed individual attendance quality and productivity metrics
  • Maintain strict adherence to schedule and performance standards
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 months of recent high-volume inbound contact center experience
  • Strong multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based systems
  • Excellent verbal communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and accuracy under pressure
  • Dependable attendance and schedule flexibility required

Schedule and Availability

  • Must be available to work any 8-hour shift between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM
  • No schedule changes permitted during the first 90 days
  • Consistent attendance is a critical performance requirement

Work Environment

  • Onsite office setting in Austin TX
  • Structured performance-driven call center environment
  • Ongoing monitoring of quality productivity and attendance metrics

Most Important

To be considered candidates must meet all of the following:

  • Minimum 6 months of recent high-volume inbound call center experience
  • Experience must be within the last 12 months preferably in the most recent role
  • Call center experience must be clearly stated on the resume by title and or role description
  • Ability to work onsite in Austin TX this is not a remote role
